This is Chance, and his mom. He’s my chalku for Silvermender’s Anova world, horse based obviously. He’s super gentle and compassionate, sensitive and empathic. He would rather run from a fight if he thought he could not calm the other person down to talk it over. He is a rogue chalku, no baron.
ALSO Huge thank you to Swift for coloring the full form, she did an INCREDIBLE job with my lines.
Oh—OHBoyohboy I’VE BEEN ANTICIPATING THIS FOR SO LONG NOW! Aaahhh baby Chance, one of the nicest additions to the fray. I am really, REALLY happy how his development’s been coming along, and of course, hehe—well, being the new kid in town and all that it’s still amazing how he’s managed to adapt and form some pretty nice plot-relationship stuff with the rest of the cast
particularly a ruddy-skinned chalku we’re all a bit more familiar with
REALLY LOOKING FORWARD to keep posting about this guy, it’s been some hecka lot impressive worldbuilding that’s just sprung up from discussing him, geez I’m really excited
I should really try and illustrate Pint’s exaptations for his wereform. I love LOVE Chance’s flyer. Also his appalosa coloring aahhh!
It really was inevitable. The amount of talent and passion I see in Pacific Rim fans on the various social medias is just astounding. Let’s all try and gather it in one place, shall we?
This page is for raising interest and gathering participants for this fan book. At its most base concept, it will be an art book. At its grandest state that may or may not even be possible, it would have art, comics, writing, cosplay, EVERYTHING that fandom can offer. But, that latter bit might be too ambitious. We’ll see.
Keep an eye out on this Tumblr for further developments, how to help, how to participate, etc etc. There’s a good bit of research to be done to make this viable (let’s just say I’m a bit of a perfectionist and need to be sure this can be amazing), and a lot of people that will need to participate to make this project as phenomenal as it has the potential to be (I am only one artist who likes to throttle overambitious projects in to submission). I hope you’ll be around to see it take off!
